Message And if not, then something is WRONG. I've done over 16 runs in my car and my 60' time is now down to a sorry 2.7-2.9. The car bogs after every launch because I can only get the stall at 2100rpm. I've tried launching it a dozen different ways...slightly spinning, all out, hovering at 2000, no power braking, you name it. I've had others drive it that know automatic...same result. The car is running GREAT, compression is high, sensors all work, Greg Dupree checked it up, put the cats back ON (had no effect), etc

I'm going f'ing nuts...what the hell is wrong with my car! Greg mentioned he thinks the stall should be around 2,600 in the NA Z and that would account for it. Sure enough, my times BEFORE I my old tranny blew were 2.05-2.2 60'. After it has never been better than 2.6. While I know you shouldn't need to change torque converters on a rebuild, I don't know WHAT is going on...too much conflicting info!

ARGH!
